India Composites Show 2013
India, being part of BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) countries,
offers a large potential for global collaboration, both in trade and
technology in composites applications. Composite material industry for
BRIC is expected to be worth over US$ 27 billion by 2016. In 2011, the
volume of composites output reached around 3 per cent of the worldwide
volume – and about 6 per cent of Asian volume. The annual growth rate
has been considerable since the last three years, projected to be around
18 per cent to 20 per cent every year.
