EW-SHM Congress, Nantes from 8 to 11 July 2014
On the occasion of EW-SHM Congress to be held in Nantes from 8 to 11 July 2014, we organize two special sessions dedicated to smart composites emphasizing the durability of Smart Composites Structures as well as the control of fabrication processes through the use of embedded sensors.
Invited session papers and contributed papers are both invited to submit a 2 page abstract following the guidelines http://ewshm2014.com/wo_submission_abstract.php.
Please,note that the deadline of submission is january, 17th, 2014
Among the aspects that will be addresssed are embedded/bonded sensors, durability of sensors, durability of embedded sensors, effects of process-temperature, effects of damage and cracks, signals and interpretation, simulation, nanosensors, MEMs, NEMs, conductive nanocomposites, fiber optic sensors, ultrasonic sensors, implementation in large and medium scale structures ...
The first session (mgr code 39) will focus on sensors whose current development allows direct industrial applications while the second session (k9p7q code) targets new generations of sensors, typically those under development.
