Frank Kerstan, global automotive programme manager at polyurethane (PU) producer Henkel, and Frank Fetscher, business development director at composites parts producer Benteler‑SGL, made a joint presentation in a Composites Europe 2015 exhibition forum. Kerstan discussed the suitability of PU resin as a low viscosity alternative with high injection speed and lower exothermy to traditional epoxide (EP) resin use in resin transfer moulding (RTM).
