Decision support system for predictive maintenance of wind farms
In this paper, the state of the art related to the monitoring of wind turbines in order to improve their availability and reduce their maintenance costs will be studied and discussed. The goal is to highlight its limits against maximizing the wind turbine availability and reducing their maintenance costs. The paper will end by providing hints and insights to develop a monitoring system that can improve the availability and reduce the maintenance costs of wind turbines.
