In this analysis the epoxy resin was strengthened with silane grafted aramid fibre (kevlar) and nanosilica to improve the mechanical and dynamic mechanical behaviour of a turbine blade that was developed and tested. The main goal of this research was to study the role of adding silane-treated aramid fibre and nanosilica particle in epoxy made steam turbine blade.
